NEXT YOGA & WINE WORKSHOP

Our collaboration between Big Basin Vineyards and Shakti Yoga Shala continues with our next event to be held at the winery and yoga studio on March 20th. An all-levels yoga class in the morning will be followed by lunch. Then, Winemaker & Proprietor Bradley Brown will teach a wine appreciation seminar in the afternoon while tasting through six different Big Basin wines. Space is limited, so register soon.

The Spring Release Newsletter has been sent and the offer is open to the mailing list. Two new wines will be introduced for the first time including the 2007 Odeon Syrah/Cabernet blend and the 2007 Alfaro Family Vineyard Pinot. These wines and the 2007 Mandala and 2009 Aura Rosé are now available for a limited time at pre-release prices to those on our mailing list through our website.

The reviews on our new Spring Release wines are rolling in with Connoisseurs' Guide giving the 2007 Alfaro Family Vineyard Pinot Noir a 92 & 2 puffs and Tanzer awarding it 91 points. The Wine Spectator recently awarded the 2007 Odeon 93 points and the 2007 Mandala 91 points, while Rhone Report rated it 93 points. Metro Silicon Valley recently named Big Basin Vineyards as the "Staff Pick - Best Syrah".
